Food companies are always looking for ways to make their foods seem healthier than they actually are. Many food companies often put very small portion sizes on their packaging so when you read the nutrition information it looks like there is little fat/carbohydrate/salt content. This is why you should always read the “per 100 grams” information. That way you can work out the percentages really easily. For example, 15 grams of protein per 100 grams is 15%. Easy. It’s something to look out for next time you’re in the supermarket.
