Tip 31: Zone out while you are training

Does exercise make you bored? You’re not alone. I think about 4 out of 5 people I see in the gym are only there because they “have” to be. Exercise doesn’t have to be boring, you just need to zone out!
Zoning out means you’re concentrating on something other than how much it hurts of how tired you are. This is really good when you have to do a long cardio session. Some good ways to zone out are listening to your favourite music (mp3 players are lightweight and cheap these days), watching the TV, Thinking about what you’re going to do tomorrow, etc etc.
If you can learn to zone out while you’re training you’ll find it won’t become a chore.
