When you’re about to have a snack, whether it be biscuits, cereal, rice crisps, whatever, never take the packet out of the cupboard down with you to the sofa. Always take a few out of the packet and put them in a bowl or plate. This way it’s easy to measure how much you’re eating and you’re less tempted to go overboard.

There are literally hundreds of exercises you can do on a fit ball. And better yet, fit balls and cheap and you can do the exercises in the comfort of your own home. No matter what level of training you’re at, fit balls are great!

You can literally do an entire body workout using a fit ball. Throw in some weights and you’ve got serious workout tool at your fingertips. There are plenty of books you can buy which have all the fit ball exercises inside and some suggested workouts.

So what are you waiting for, get on the ball!

I know its hard to look at yourself in the mirror and take some photos, but photos are a really good way to measure your progress and success. As well as these photos, you should take measurements of your waist, thighs, upper arms and bust.

You can use these figures like the scales, to measure your progress. Once you lose some weight, looking at your “before” photos can really give you some motivation!
